Cultural and tourism heritage has a great potential to promote employment and economic growth, as well as to promote the development of rural, remote or less developed areas. The promotion of cultural heritage can play an important role in the development of European regions – infrastructure built for tourists contributes to the development of the site, while jobs created or preserved help prevent economic downturn in rural areas. Thus, the social and educational value of European cultural heritage affects both job creation, economic growth and social equality. The project is being launched within the framework of the European Cultural Heritage 2018, with priority being given to actions to promote the importance of European cultural heritage through education, non-formal or informal learning.
