Project objective

The aim of the project is improving the quality and cost-efficiency of infrastructure surveillance in Tartu city and Valmiera municipality with the help of drones, based on the common solution developed within the project.

Activities

  1. Carrying out test drone flights in Tartu city and Valmiera municipality.
  2. Compiling a solution report based on the test flights.
  3. Compiling a jointly developed strategy and action plan for the development of drone-based services.
  4. Organizing joint ecosystem-building events together with stakeholders, ensuring transmission of knowledge and technology.

Results

  1. Jointly composed 5-year strategy for the years 2025-2029 for development of the drone-based public services in Tartu, Valmiera and the surrounding regions.
  2. Jointly composed Action plan 2025-2029 for development of drone-based public services in Tartu and Valmiera and their surrounding regions.
  3. Piloting drone-based municipal infrastructure surveillance in Tartu and Valmiera.
  4. Jointly developed Solution Paper based on the pilot activities, summarising the experiences.
