Objective

To identify and propose local and regional policies to implement and develop the use of ICTs in the audiovisual sector.

Activities

  1. The project intends to inform and influence the development of regional policies through the production of a Policy Transfer Document - addressing cooperation between media and digital sector to generate useful content for the information society, and to foster cooperation and networking in media production and distribution through the use of ICTs.
  2. In addition to the implementation of new policies, the partners will create an Online Observatory to be maintained and updated after the project life, in order to facilitate the transfer of good practices, policies & tools among stakeholders.
  3. Organisation and participation in Working Groups meetings, Study visit, Workshops & Seminars.

Results

  1. A clear and well managed Communication Strategy, focussed on specialised public targets at European Level: ICTs & Audio-visual professionals & Policy-Makers.
  2. Implemented the best practices and adequated to regional & local policies.
  3. Created Sustainable European Observatory & prepared a Policy Transfer document, to transfer results outside of the partnership
  4. Identified, analysed and evaluated training policies for the implementation of ICTs in audiovisual companies.
  5. Identified, analysed and evaluated regional policies and tools for the development and implementation of ICTs in the sector.
  6. Identified, analysed and evaluated innovative ways of supporting the development of audiovisual contents in the digital era.
  7. Identified, analysed and evaluated good practices in the implementation of ICTs.
  8. Identified and transfered good practices of inter-sectorial, inter-institutional and interregional cooperation related to ICTs and the audiovisual sector.
