Project objectives

The project aims to improve regional development policy instruments in partner regions through co-creative knowledge exchange process on how European regions are implementing the values of the NEB in their development strategies.

Activities

  1. Research and preparation of a situation analysis report;
  2. Training and knowledge transfer activities, organizing three workshops for partners and target groups;
  3. Organization of study visits in partner regions to identify and evaluate best practices;
  4. Organization of local events in partner regions, involving policymakers and non-governmental organizations;
  5. Development of proposals for policy document improvements.

Results

  1. A practical knowledge exchange process will be established, including co-creation workshops, study visits, and seminars.
  2. During the project, partners will collaborate with stakeholders in their regions, identify best practices, and jointly develop innovative pilot actions to implement the values of the New European Bauhaus in communities.
  3. A research on the current situation will be conducted, and an analysis report will be prepared.
  4. Workshops will be organized for project partners and representatives of target groups.
  5. Study visits will be carried out in the partner regions.
  6. Events will be held in each project partner region, involving policymakers, non-governmental organizations, and other target groups.
  7. Guidelines for improving policy documents will be developed.

Total budget: 1,691,608 EUR

Vidzeme Planning Region: 207,000 EUR
