Project objectives

To increase capacity of culture and project specialists with an aim to achieve active and efficient participation of Vidzeme Planning Region and municipalities in implementation of projects and activities co-financed by the European Union policy instruments and other external financial aid programmes; to strengthen co-operation among specialists in different fields.

Activities

1. Project administration.
2. Exchange of experience visit.
3. Future city game – compiling culture project ideas of Vidzeme region.
4. Investigation of financial resources available for implementing project ideas.
5. Training of culture and project specialists.
6. Evaluation of project results.
7. Information and publicity.

Results

60 project and culture specialists in Vidzeme Planning Region will improve their capacity of implementation of projects and activities co-financed by the European Union policy instruments and other external financial aid programmes; 40 people will take part in the experience exchange visit to Daugavpils; 12 new project ideas will be prepared; study on possibilities to finance culture projects will be compiled.
