Project objectives
To increase capacity for transnational cooperation implementing the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region and working on common priorities with the partner countries.Activities
- Elaboration of the state of play analysis, creating a network among all relevant stakeholders and exchange of good practices.
- Experience and knowledge sharing activities between project partners to identify common gaps, problems and good practices between Baltic Sea Region countries (workshops, discussions, interregional meetings).
- Elaborate a report (project application) on funding possibilities.
Results
- Lifelong learning as reality, offering competence development and resources for face-to-face guidance throughout the whole life.
- Supported dialogue between labour market organizations, employers' and business organizations, relevant authorities and education providers on a society of longer lives.
- Strengthened lifelong learning educational system, that is closely linked to, and supports the smart specialization areas on the macro and regional level.
- New educational methods developed in the "test beds" within the pilot actions of the main project (for example, changes in the educational systems, new pedagogical tools for training adults and elderly and new structures involving study organizations/non-formal educations).
- An elaborated platform for sharing good practices and validation of new methods in the field of lifelong learning.
