Project objectives
- Increase awareness of youth in the BSR about bioeconomy;
- Integrate youth perspective in planning and implementation of PA Bioeconomy activities;
- Increase cooperation and coordination of several youth and bioeconomy networks in the BSR;
- Involve representatives of youth in planning and implementation of PA Bioeconomy;
- Develop a concept and partnership for future big project in the area of youth and bioeconomy.
Activities
- Establishment of a preliminary Youth Bioeconomy Council;
- Do study on bioeconomy and youth;
- Integrate youth network into the dialog on circular bioeconomy and SDGs;
- Mobilize decision makers to engage next generation into development process for the BSR.
Results
- Several young individuals trained/informed about bioeconomy during project events and communication campaign;
- Pilot Youth Bioeconomy Council established;
- Concept paper or an application form for a bigger project developed.
