Project objective
The aim of the project is improving the quality and cost-efficiency of infrastructure surveillance in Tartu city and Valmiera municipality with the help of drones, based on the common solution developed within the project.
Activities
- Carrying out test drone flights in Tartu city and Valmiera municipality.
- Compiling a solution report based on the test flights.
- Compiling a jointly developed strategy and action plan for the development of drone-based services.
- Organizing joint ecosystem-building events together with stakeholders, ensuring transmission of knowledge and technology.
Results
- Jointly composed 5-year strategy for the years 2025-2029 for development of the drone-based public services in Tartu, Valmiera and the surrounding regions.
- Jointly composed Action plan 2025-2029 for development of drone-based public services in Tartu and Valmiera and their surrounding regions.
- Piloting drone-based municipal infrastructure surveillance in Tartu and Valmiera.
- Jointly developed Solution Paper based on the pilot activities, summarising the experiences.
