Joint Development of the Drone-Based Municipal Services (Smart Skies)

The “Smart Skies” project aims to pilot drone-based solutions in infrastructure and territory surveillance, seeking smart and innovative solutions to handle different municipality functions. As a part of the project, drone test flights will be carried out in Valmiera municipality and Tartu city, and a common solution report will be developed, based on the testing results. In addition, the project partners will develop a joint strategy and action plan for development of drone-based services, which will provide a useful planning tool for other municipalities in Vidzeme and Southern Estonia regions.
