Project objectives

  1. Increase awareness of youth in the BSR about bioeconomy;
  2. Integrate youth perspective in planning and implementation of PA Bioeconomy activities;
  3. Increase cooperation and coordination of several youth and bioeconomy networks in the BSR;
  4. Involve representatives of youth in planning and implementation of PA Bioeconomy;
  5. Develop a concept and partnership for future big project in the area of youth and bioeconomy.

Activities

  1. Establishment of a preliminary Youth Bioeconomy Council;
  2. Do study on bioeconomy and youth;
  3. Integrate youth network into the dialog on circular bioeconomy and SDGs;
  4. Mobilize decision makers to engage next generation into development process for the BSR.

Results

  1. Several young individuals trained/informed about bioeconomy during project events and communication campaign;
  2. Pilot Youth Bioeconomy Council established;
  3. Concept paper or an application form for a bigger project developed.

Total budget: 500' 000 SEK / ~ 46,700.00 EUR
