Project objectives
To develop and test a program to promote a sustainable food-friendly environment and bring it to life in local innovation ecosystems.Activities
- To develop participation, governance and integration modules to bring different stakeholders together
- To collect the knowledge, resources and interests of stakeholders by including them in a common research and innovation agenda
- To develop guidelines for demand-side management, educating consumers, promoting consumer-producer cooperation, including developing sustainable, circular economy-oriented public food procurement
- To develop guidelines for supply-side management, supporting changes in production models aimed at fundamental changes in food systems
Results
- A program that will consist of 3 components and will be available for use not only in the project partner cities/regions, but also replicable in other cities/regions developed
- An environment supporting the production of sustainable food promoted by strengthening the capacity of institutions
- A cooperation between manufacturers for the development of new products established
