Efficient Energy Building Roadmap for Latvia (Build Up Skills)

A building with high energy efficiency is one of the main results of the work of highly qualified construction specialists. In Latvia, for several years has been emphasized the importance of using renewable energy resources for obtaining energy, and increasing energy efficiency in existing buildings and newly built ones. Only knowledgeable specialists can construct a building according to modern requirements. Currently, the knowledge of those employed in the construction industry needs to be improved and regularly updated. It is necessary to understand what changes should be made in legislation and cooperation between the various parties involved. Latvia’s planning regions and representatives of the construction industry are involved in the “Build up Skills – Latvia” project to find out how to increase the knowledge and skills of those working in the construction industry.
